Early Summer Fishing

The lower Lillooet River contains a large number of trout as well as Chinook salmon, and the Coho salmon run is well up into the Birkenhead River right now with fish in almost every pool. This river is holding quite a number of trout as well and the water levels are ideal for both spin and fly fishing. The Lillooet River has cleared since the summer runoff and fishing for dolley varden in the upper valley will be good now until ice over. We are still getting reports of good fishing on Anderson Lake and we expect this to carry on for another month or two. This lake is very productive for bull trout and rainbows.

Watch for our postings on winter fishing as we get into the new year.

Tight lines everyone, and if you have any questions call or stop in. We are glad to help you pick out some lucky hooks. Take a few minutes to shop our on line store for fishing bargains that are posted regularly.

Don't forget to use the Lillooet Killer fly in most streams and lakes year round.
